• “whatcha doin’ leslie?” emaline is practically hissing

• “uh- well i figured that you would want your own bed and since there are only tw-” leslie stammers

• emaline cuts her off with a dry “don’t worry about it; kate and i can share” she glances at kate, “right sweetie?”

• “uh yeah,” kate stammers, “of course”

• leslie is in shock at emaline showing kindness

• the three get into their respective beds and leslie starts talking about the mechanics of running sound

• kate is only aware of how close emaline is

• the junior, politely nodding along to leslie’s chatter, is softly running her fingers through kate’s hair

• after about half an hour, leslie decides to call it a night and turns the lights out

• emaline snuggles into kate

• “is this okay?” emaline whispers into kate’s ear

• “yes, definitely” rushes out of the younger girls mouth instantly

• emaline smiles into her hair and pulls her head back to look at kate

• “you know..” the blonde says shyly, “i think you’re perfect too”

sorry this is so short! i just always thought that after leslie walked in the kemaline flirting would be adorable and i wanted to write something short and sweet. i could start writing these in, like, fanfiction format. idk lemme know if anyone would read a fully written fanfic or if i should stick to just doing headcanons

i don’t know if you’re not into this but i have so many stupid ideas for these pure babies asdfk let me know if you like these and want more!!

• kate and emaline are nervous after the kiss in the autitorium the next school day so emaline tries to reassure her gf by taking her to school, holding her hand while walking early in the morning and talking about how they love each other a lot in the most cutest way
• emaline sits with the AV club and listens to her gf talk about the next movie with her bright ideas and thinks “i love her she’s so cute how is she mine she’s so talented and smart” and so does kate
• mcquaid mentally cries everytime emaline looks at him bc he knows what’s up
• tyler catches the two in the library being gay and just says “i won’t tell anyone” and most likely forgets but really doesn’t and makes pure fanfiction of the two and cries over his masterpiece
• emaline /always/ leaves little notes in kate’s locker before she heads off to classes with it saying like “i love u♡♡♡♡♡♡” and like leaves little origami hearts everywhere in her locker and kate thinks it’s hella cute
• kate picks up emaline and just runs with her all the way to her house, zyoom
• emaline is pissed but kate calms her by kissing her temple
• emaline calls her an idiot and tries to be menacing but kate just finds it adorable and kisses her again
• she gives up
• kate cries one time because everything was stressing her out, and emaline her hero comes to save the day by holding her and just kissing her and saying things like “it’s okay,” “you’re okay,” “i’m here for you,” “i think your perfect” “don’t cry or i’ll cry too”
• emaline is overprotective over her gf even though she’s a just tiny bitchy bean
• kate is the shy gaybie who loves her gf and nothing else and just always wants to be near her and hold her hand
